• Personal Information: We may collect basic user profile information from all Visitors. From Authorized Customers, we collect names, addresses, phone numbers, email addresses, business details (nature and size), payment information, and details about services they intend to use.
• Usage Data: We collect how you interact with our chatbot and platform, including session logs, usage frequency, device/browser info, IP addresses, ISP information, and login patterns.
• Cookies: We use cookies and similar technologies to remember preferences, improve functionality, enhance security, and track user movements. For example, the platform may automatically log off users after periods of inactivity.

2. How We Use Your Information

• To operate and maintain our chatbot and services effectively.
• To provide support, send service updates, and respond to inquiries.
• To analyze feature usage and enhance chatbot performance.
• To customize the platform, make appropriate service offerings, and fulfill business requests.
• To comply with legal requirements and prevent abuse.

3. Sharing of Information

• We do not sell your personal data to third parties.
• We may share data with trusted third-party providers who help us operate our services (e.g., payment processors, cloud infrastructure, analytics, banks, credit and escrow providers).
• In limited cases, PII of Authorized Customers may be shared with other Authorized Customers when necessary to evaluate or facilitate explicitly requested interactions.
• We may disclose information if required by law, or to protect rights and safety.

4. Data Protection

We use industry-standard measures to protect your data, including encryption in transit and at rest, secure authentication, access controls, and regular security audits. Personally Identifiable Information collected by PetBuddy is securely stored and is not accessible to third parties or employees except for use as indicated above.

5. Data Retention & Deletion

We retain your data only as long as necessary to provide our services. You may request data deletion at any time by contacting us at aiassistant@petbuddy.care. While certain backup or archival copies may persist for a time, we will functionally delete the data and cease further processing going forward, except where retention is required by law.

6. AI/ML Usage Disclosure

We do not use any data obtained from Google Workspace APIs to develop, improve, or train generalized AI or machine learning models.

7. Google API User Data and Limited Use

PetBuddy’s use of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy including the Limited Use requirements. For Workspace APIs, see the Workspace API User Data and Developer Policy. For Photos APIs, see the Photos API Policy (Limited Use of User Data).

We affirm that PetBuddy complies with Google’s Limited Use policy. We do not use Google user data for advertising purposes or to train generalized AI/ML models.

8. Facebook and Instagram Data

If you connect your Facebook or Instagram account with PetBuddy, we may access limited information such as your public profile, Page ID, and messages. This data is used solely to provide chatbot services like automated replies and customer lead display.

We do not sell or use your Facebook/Instagram data for advertising. You may revoke permissions at any time through your Facebook settings.
